The Scottish Government and Road Safety Scotland are running a driver fatigue campaign, which will go live this week running from 24 August until 4 October 2020.
Fatigue is a contributory factor in crashes which kill or seriously-injure around 50 people every year in Scotland. However experts estimate that the real figure is much higher, with up to 30 per cent of all collisions involving driver fatigue.
The new integrated campaign will run on multiple channels including TV.
The Fatigue Campaign Toolkit is available within the resource section of the website.
You can also find the advert on YouTube.
As the campaign progresses there will be further social media visuals, short films featuring the emergency services and a sleep expert, discussing the devastating consequences of driver fatigue.
